Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine.

I hope all of you are having a very good Wednesday! And I am also seriously hoping that I am not the only one drooling over all these upcoming release.

I Am Waiting On…

All the Truth That's In Me

All the Truth That’s in Me
Publisher: Viking Juvenile
Release Date: September 26th, 2013
Synopsis: Four years ago, Judith and her best friend disappeared from their small town of Roswell Station.

Two years ago, only Judith returned, permanently mutilated, reviled and ignored by those who were once her friends and family.

Unable to speak, Judith lives like a ghost in her own home, silently pouring out her thoughts to the boy who’s owned her heart as long as she can remember—even if he doesn’t know it—her childhood friend, Lucas. But when Roswell Station is attacked, long-buried secrets come to light, and Judith is forced to choose: continue to live in silence, or recover her voice, even if it means changing her world, and the lives around her, forever.

This startlingly original novel will shock and disturb you; it will fill you with Judith’s passion and longing; and its mysteries will keep you feverishly turning the pages until the very last.

Why?: Not only is that cover oddly appealing to me, but the story sounds amazing~! Such of a intriguing and original premise. It just promises a compelling novel!

Unhinged (Splintered, #2)Unhinged by A.G. Howard
Publisher: Amulet
Release Date: January 7th 2014
Synopsis: lyssa Gardner has been down the rabbit hole and faced the bandersnatch. She saved the life of Jeb, the guy she loves, and escaped the machinations of the disturbingly seductive Morpheus and the vindictive Queen Red. Now all she has to do is graduate high school and make it through prom so she can attend the prestigious art school in London she’s always dreamed of.

That would be easier without her mother, freshly released from an asylum, acting overly protective and suspicious. And it would be much simpler if the mysterious Morpheus didn’t show up for school one day to tempt her with another dangerous quest in the dark, challenging Wonderland—where she (partly) belongs.

As prom and graduation creep closer, Alyssa juggles Morpheus’s unsettling presence in her real world with trying to tell Jeb the truth about a past he’s forgotten. Glimpses of Wonderland start to bleed through her art and into her world in very disturbing ways, and Morpheus warns that Queen Red won’t be far behind.

If Alyssa stays in the human realm, she could endanger Jeb, her parents, and everyone she loves. But if she steps through the rabbit hole again, she’ll face a deadly battle that could cost more than just her head.

Why?: Even though Morpheus looks, um, kind of bad on the cover, I am still really excited for the book! I was captivated by Splintered and can’t wait to see what Howard has up her sleeve next. And hopefully Jeb will disappear. Hopefully.

  1. Both have fascinating covers! All the Truth That’s In Me looks like a lovely blend of introspection and mystery and thriller… great choices. (:

  2. I really want to read All the Truth That’s In Me. I was one of the few who didn’t like Splintered (and much of that was due to my dislike of Morpheus, which I KNOW puts me in the minority, ha), so I won’t be reading Unhinged, but I certainly hope you like it!

    My WoW pick

  3. Um, whoa, that first book sounds crazy. Man, I’m adding that to my list asap. And of course Unhinged is on my tbr! I keep going back an forth on the cover though. I want to like it, but the guy reminds me too much of Robert Pattinson which makes me NOT like it. >_<

  5. The first book sounds great. The cover and title are great. Something that I would love to add to my bookshelf. The second book is not my kind at all. Hate the cover too. Definitely not for me.
