The Sunday Post(6)

The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

I want to dedicate this little section of the Sunday Post to my mother and all the other moms out there! Seriously, I don’t know what I do with my mom. She’s the only thing that is keeping me from being a train wreck.

Really, I love my mom and love spending time with her. She plays a big role in my life as a supporter and friend. And I hope that I am able to return the love by doing the things that daughters do.

Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

And on another note, I got completely fooled by Thrift Books. I thought it would be a great online used bookstore, but I got a bad impression already. They sent me the wrong book -_-

  1. Yay for Mother’s Day! Boo for Thrift Books! Some things are just too good to be true, right?

I look forward to your posts this week, especially the reasons why you should read Manga. I hope you include a recommendation for newbies in it! I’ve never read any manga but have friends who did… for some reason it just has never appealed to me. But if you have one you think I should try out, maybe I will! Oh, and thanks for linking to me!

    • Mother’s Day is always great 🙂 I was so excited for Thrift Books, but they disappointed me on my first purchase. Not a good sign -_-

Manga isn’t for everyone but I do think that if people look for a manga with a story they like, they *might* come to love it.

      No problem 🙂

  2. And I am happy you had a nice time with mom. I love my mom like crazy ♡♡.. What a bummer that you got the wrong book delivered. How did the site deal with that situation?

    • My mom is kind of crazy, but I love her 😛 We had a fun time on Mother’s Day. I’m guessing that you spend some time with your mom also?

Well, Thrift Books doesn’t have a contact number, so I had to email them. Let’s see how that goes…

      • Well Mother’s day was on Mar 21st here. My mom was in India so technically I didn’t spend time with her. But I did get her gifts which I gave it later on when she returned.. She loved it!
